Google Phone — update the Phone app on your Android Marshmallow device to enjoy many convenient features. If you recently switched from a phone with the previous version of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) to the new version, you may have noticed that the app for making phone calls has changed.
Phone communications are now controlled by the Google Phone app, so the mountain view guys want to intend to improve the management of our calls and contacts.

Main Google Phone features:

• Google Duo video calls: enables the management of the video call service offered by this Google app. However, you need to install it on your phone. By clicking on the call log, search bar, or contact ID card, you can communicate via video calls and even during a call by simply pressing a button.

• Block incoming calls: with this feature, you can configure call reception, allowing you to only accept calls from a secure contact list.
• Visual Voicemail: you will no longer need to dial a Voicemail number to manage your messages, as you can check, play and delete them from the app, and even download audio. However, this service is not yet available for all companies.
• Search for phone numbers: previously, you had to turn to a browser or Google app to find a phone number. Now you don't have to do this, because the app itself offers you this service so that you can find a number and make a call without having to switch to another app, copy and paste text.
• Emergency location: do you have a problem and need to call 112, 911, or any other emergency number? The app can share your location with these services so that they can get to you faster.
