Hangouts — allows you to send and receive messages, chat in voice chat, and also conduct free individual and group video calls.
This app has emerged as one of the features of Google+. But the popularity of the videoconferencing system probably led to the name Google’s new messaging system, which combines the services provided by Google+, Google Plus Messenger and Google Voice. Rumors of Babel or Babble are left behind.
